The "PUMP" Air Pump Manual
CAUTIONS
- Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used
by or near children.
- This pump is designed to pump air. Do not, under any circumstances,
attempt to operate this pump with water or other liquids. Any
ingress of water or liquids can result in an electric shock and
damage to the pump.
- The operating temperature range for this pump is between 41°F
(5°C) and 104°F (40°C).
- Do not block the air being discharged. The pump must have sufficient
room to allow proper heat dissipation. Operation of the pump in
temperatures outside the recommended temperature range may result
in malfunction and/or severely shortened service life.
- Always turn off power and remove plug from socket before carrying
out any service or maintenance. To remove plug from socket, grasp
the plug body and pull. Do not try to remove by pulling on supply
cord.
- Use of unauthorized replacement parts may jeopardize safety.
- This pump is intended for indoor use only.
- Ensure pump is securely mounted prior to operation.
- Read and observe all important markings on pump.
- Ensure that extension cords (if required) have the correct
or higher rating (amperes or watts). Ensure cord is properly positioned
to avoid tripping.
- During operation, do not touch the lower housing with bare hands
as the temperature may increase up to 70°C. (This temperature
will not affect the performance of the pump but may cause burns.)
