Put You and Your Pet on the 'Net VI
  
Hagen loves pets just as much as you do; so we want to offer everyone the ability to show the love and affection between pets and their owners. Our Home Page and each animal section of the website have always shown a random display of companionship pictures. So now we want to offer you the opportunity to "Put Your Pet on the Net VI".

Enter your favorite picture of you with your pet into our contest. Suitable photos will be displayed in each section's Photo Gallery and the top three pictures will be awarded Gift Certificates redeemable at your local Pet Store carrying Hagen products. The very best ones will become part of the permanent collection of photos displayed randomly when people visit the site and its various sections!

1st  Prize - $250.00 Gift Certificate
2nd Prize - $200.00 Gift Certificate
3rd  Prize - $100.00 Gift Certificate

A prize for the best picture in each of the following categories will also be awarded:

Bird: $75.00 Gift Certificate
Cat: $75.00 Gift Certificate

Fish (aquarium and pond): $75.00 Gift Certificate
Reptile: $75.00 Gift Certificate
Small Animal (hamster, rabbit, guinea pig, ferret, etc.): $75.00 Gift Certificate

Rules and Regulations:

In order to win this contest, the selected entrant must first answer a time-limited skill-testing question.

Contest is subject to the following rules and regulations:
  1. All valid entries must include an attached file that shows a person with their pet.
  2. All entries must be in digital format
  3. All entries must be at minimum resolution of 72 DPI (or higher) and sized 240 x 240 pixels or larger
    - Larger entries may be reduced to fit the allotted space and to allow optimized download.
    - Suggested maximum size should be less than 1 M.
  4. No lewd, obscene, exploiting or abusive graphics will be accepted.
  5. All information on the official entry form must be provided in order for the entry to be valid. By submitting an Official Entry Form from the website, each contestant agrees to abide by the rules and regulations governing this contest.
  6. Multiple unique entries are allowed, but only one person per household can win. Any and all duplicate pictures will be discarded.
  7. All entries must be received through the "Put Your Pet on the 'Net VI" Contest Entry site at www.hagen.com/canada/english/ by the contest close date of midnight, January 30, 2008.
  8. The contest draw will be February 9, 2008, 12:00 PM. Three (3) winning entries will be selected from all eligible entries received, six (6) additional winners, a winning photo from each category, will also be selected. Winners will be notified by e-mail shortly after the contest draw date. The prize(s) must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions, refunds, transfers or cash equivalent payments will be allowed.
  9. All accepted photos will be displayed in the appropriate pet section photo gallery as they are received for the duration of the contest period.
  10. This contest is open to Canadian residents of legal age.
  11. The following are excluded from entering: employees, representatives, and agents of Rolf C. Hagen Inc. and participating dealers; their immediate families; and any persons with whom they are domiciled.
  12. No purchase is necessary for entry into this contest.
  13. All entries become the sole property of Rolf C. Hagen Inc. and none will be returned. By entering this contest, all entrants agree to the use and publication of their names and addresses to be used for promotion purposes by Rolf C. Hagen Inc., or its advertising agencies, without compensation either during or after the contest.
  14. A list of the winners' name and province and the winning photographs will be published on the website shortly after the winners have been informed.
  15. Selection of winners will be by a panel of judges selected from the Web and Marketing departments of Rolf C. Hagen Inc.
  16. This contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations. Quebec residents please note: all duties have been paid to the "Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec". Any litigation respecting the conduct and awarding of the prizes in this publicity contest may be submitted to the "Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec".
