BioLife 35/55 Internal Wet/Dry Power Filter Manual

Set-Up

Bio-Life is easy to set-up. Install all components into filter before installing in aquarium. Rinse Mech Duo-Cartridge Insert and Hex-Nodes to remove any dust. The illustrations on the next page show proper placement of all filtration media and the heater in its brackets.

Select the temperature for the Thermal Standard Heater by adjusting the Set Dial. Allow up to 12 hours for the heater to attain the pre-selected temperature. The temperature should be verified with an accurate thermometer after the heater has reached the selected temperature and throughout the life of the aquarium.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The heater has been factory tested under control conditions for its pre-set temperature scale. Discrepancies between the pre-set temperature scale and actual water temperature may occur due to:

  1. Room temperature variances
  2. Lack of aquarium cover
  3. Presence of submersible pumps and filters
  4. Aquarium placement in proximity to heat or cooling sources.
To ensure accurate water temperature verify setting with a reliable thermometer.
