Whenever the Elite Air Pump must be shut off and removed from the aeration system always take off the air line from the pump before the pump is unplugged. This will prevent water from siphoning back into the pump. If the air line can not be removed before unplugging the power raise the pump above the water

All parts that can wear are provided in the assorted Elite repair kits.

Each kit includes diaphragm(s), valve flappers, valve holders, and rubber valve plug. These can easily be obtained at your local pet dealer for rapid service in case of failure. Failure of coil or any other electrical parts requires proper service from an authorised repair depot.
