The basic methodology for part replacement is slightly different for the two models. Special directions for the OPTIMA "noise eliminator" housing removal and replacement are inserted where necessary. Instructions are for one side of the valve body only; repeat each step for the second side if required.

• Remove bottom screws (4).
• Separate top housing from bottom rubber plate (2 and 3).
  

FOR OPTIMA ONLY Remove "noise eliminator" housing screws (22) being careful not to damage the rheostat circuit (24) when the rheostat circuit cover (23) is removed. Separate metal "noise eliminator" housing (21) from bottom plate.
