Before any of the following maintenance measures are carried out, the power must be turned off and the plug removed from the socket.
Cleaning the Filter
The filter must be periodically cleaned or replaced. The air pump has no sliding parts and therefore no need for lubrication. This ensures the exhausted air from the pump is always clean.
Undo the knob bolt securing the cover to the pump housing and remove the filter pad.
Gently dust the filter pad and then hand-wash in mild soapy water and dry.
Replace the filter pad and filter cover. Secure with the knob bolt.
