The Maine Coon cat has a very thick coat and
requires daily grooming. A combination of a
grooming comb and slicker brush is recommended.
This will help reduce shedding and
decrease the likelihood of mats or tangles
developing. In the event that mats and tangles
do form, they can be removed with a dematting
tool. Mats and tangles should always be
removed before a cat is bathed. |
