Known for its bushy facial beard and eyebrows,
the Schnauzer has a double coat. The
outer coat is thick and wiry, and the undercoat
is dense. Grooming with a slicker brush
should be part of this breed’s daily routine.
Brushing should be done in two directions:
first, with the grain of the hair; and then
against the grain to lift the coat. |
